Tyson Fury has once again stirred talk of a long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua, sharing a short video of himself hitting the heavy bag, albeit at a slower pace than in his prime. While the 36-year-old “Gypsy King” announced his retirement earlier in the year, some fans see this workout snippet as proof he may reconsider. Fury has yet to speak publicly on the matter, but his mere presence online has revived the “Battle of Britain” fantasy many believed had faded.

If Fury does choose to return, it’s widely believed the motivation would center on a mega-payday. Rumors persist that Saudi investors would back a Fury-Joshua clash, allowing both British heavyweights to earn considerable sums. “There’s still an audience for these two in the UK,” an unnamed insider told the local press, “and the Saudis love a big event. Throw AJ and Fury in a ring overseas and the money would be untold.”

Anthony Joshua, who most recently defeated Otto Wallin, has kept his options open while waiting for official word from the Fury camp. Promoter Eddie Hearn is reportedly keen on any opportunity to match Joshua against Fury, despite pointing to Tyson’s age and perceived decline in his workout clip.
“People may say both men are past it,” one fan tweeted, “but all of Britain would tune in.”
