In the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, a showdown of boxing titans occurred on Friday night. Headlining the event was East L.A.’s Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada (25-0, 9 KOs) defending her WBC and WBA female minimumweight world titles against Argentina’s former world champion Leonela Yudica (19-2-3, 1 KO). The junior lightweight co-main bout saw Las Vegas’ Andres “Savage” Cortes (20-0, 11 KOs) pitted against Xavier Martinez (18-2, 12 KOs) of Sacramento, California.

In the headlining bout, Seniesa Estrada successfully defended her WBC and WBA titles. After ten rounds of intensely contested boxing, Estrada emerged victorious with a hard-fought decision, with all three judges scoring the bout 97-93 in her favor. Her aggressive stance and varied style managed to outlast the consistent jab and straight rights of Yudica.

The co-main event didn’t lack excitement either. Xavier Martinez began the fight slow but gradually closed the gap against Andres Cortes. Despite a brave fight from Martinez, a severe cut on his left eye stopped him from continuing past the seventh round, handing Cortes a technical knockout victory.

On the undercard, Nahir Albright (16-2, 7 KOs) won a majority decision against Karlos Balderas (14-2, 12 KOs) in a closely fought lightweight contest. 2021 Dominican Olympian Rohan “El Rayo” Polanco (10-0, 6 KOs) triumphed over Cesar Francis (12-2, 7 KOs) in a super lightweight clash, ending the fight in the fifth round.
