Unbeaten junior middleweight contender Sadriddin Akhmedov (15-0, 13 KOs) will take on seasoned Mexican fighter Elias Espadas (23-6, 16 KOs) at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. The 10-round bout, promoted by Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions, will air live on UFC Fight Pass as part of the popular “Hollywood Fight Nights” series.
Akhmedov, a 27-year-old native of Astana, Kazakhstan, has made his mark in Southern California since relocating to Big Bear, where he trains under the tutelage of renowned coach Abel Sanchez. The hard-hitting prospect impressed local fans in 2024 with two explosive knockouts: a first-round stoppage of Antonio Todd in August and a seventh-round TKO over Raphael Igbokwe in December - both staged at the Chumash Casino Resort. Now, Akhmedov aims to continue his climb in the 154-pound division under the watchful eye of boxing observers eager to see if he can follow in the footsteps of fellow Kazakh standouts.
Espadas arrives on the heels of a second-round knockout victory over Ramon Barajas. Known for his durability and willingness to test rising stars, Espadas has previously battled the likes of Xander Zayas, Yamaguchi Falcao, Fiodor Czerkaszyn, and D’Mitrus Ballard. He also recently prepared by sparring junior middleweight contender Serhii Bohachuk in camp.
“Our Los Angeles events get bigger and better in 2025, and the April 19 Hollywood Fight Nights show continues that ascent," said promoter Tom Loeffler. "Sadriddin Akhmedov quickly impressed Southern California fans with his two knockout victories last year. Elias Espadas is no stranger to testing undefeated contenders, which makes for an explosive 10-round main event."
