Charly Coronel Suarez, known as the “King’s Warrior,” is a distinguished Filipino boxer born on August 14, 1988, in San Isidro, Davao del Norte, Philippines. Standing at 5’6” with a reach of 74 inches, Suarez fights in the super featherweight division with an orthodox stance.
Before turning professional, Suarez had an extensive amateur career, representing the Philippines in various international competitions. Notably, he competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics and secured a silver medal at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon. Additionally, he clinched gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games in 2009, 2011, and 2019. 
Transitioning to the professional arena in 2019, Suarez quickly made a name for himself. A significant highlight of his career was in March 2023 when he traveled to Sydney, Australia, and defeated Paul Fleming via a 12th-round technical knockout. This victory earned him multiple regional titles and paved the way for a contract with Top Rank Inc. Subsequently, Suarez continued his winning streak in the United States, including a notable third-round knockout of Jorge Castaneda in September 2024, securing the WBO International Super Featherweight title.
